Roman Reigns Tells Brooklyn He’s Ready for the Noise
At SummerSlam, Roman Reigns will take on Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. The only problem is, that as of now, the majority of fans don’t want to see this match happen again. It appears Roman Reigns is aware of this, and he does not care!
No matter how badly Vince McMahon and Co. want Reigns to the top babyface in the WWE many fans just simply won’t back him. For whatever reason.
Every time Reigns’ music hits, and he walks down to the ring, he’s met with a chorus of boos instead of cheers.
Not getting the reaction the office wants you to get may affect a wrestler in a negative way. But Reigns doesn’t seem to care, as evidenced by his most recent tweet:
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar met at this year’s WrestleMania, where everyone expected Reigns to walk out as Universal Champion and dethrone the Beast Incarnate to finally get his coronation as the top guy in WWE. But the fans hijacked the match chanting “Boring” throughout the majority of it, which may have led to Vince changing the outcome mid-match, fearing the damage it may do to his top-guy.
With SummerSlam happening in Brooklyn this year, one of the loudest, and most involved crowds WWE has, it’s hard to imagine that crowd not having something to say about this match while it is taking place.
But, Roman seems to be ready for whatever Brooklyn has to throw at him, and WWE is potentially ready with a Plan B just in case the fans aren’t taking to well with Roman winning the Championship.
Either way that crowd will be white-hot, as they always are.
