Predicting the Champions at WWE Evolution 2018

NXT UK: Toni Storm

The WWE’s NXT UK brand has not yet crowned a women’s champion but it seems safe to assume that whoever wins, the belt will be defended at Evolution. With the brand in its early days, the show will be a great chance to provide some exposure and help draw some fans towards the product.

While the company do have a tendency to make surprising choices for inaugural champions, Toni Storm becoming the first ever NXT UK women’s champion feels like a no-brainer.

The Australian born star has made a name for herself all over the world and has been one of the biggest non-WWE names in recent years. She has a list of accolades as long as my arm and she will no doubt prove popular with the NXT UK audience.

Due to the nature of the event as well, Storm could easily defend her belt against a main-roster star or a returning veteran, which would also give her a major chance to shine and help put her over as one of the biggest stars on the new brand. She is one of the most accomplished performers on the brand, and she would no doubt give a great account of herself on such a historic stage.
