Raw: Ronda Rousey

It feels like a dead cert that Ronda Rousey is going to be in the main event of Evolution, and it seems highly unlikely that she won’t be holding the Raw women’s championship by the time the event rolls around.

Rousey is set to go one on one with Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam in a couple of weeks, and it seems probable that she will end up leaving Brooklyn with her first piece of gold in the WWE. She will likely quickly dispose of Bliss in a rematch, setting herself up for an even bigger opponent at Evolution.

Rousey is the biggest name in the WWE right now, and the company will be smart to build the historic event around her competing in a headline slot.

That being said, if the company opts to go for a Four Horsewomen of NXT Vs Four Horsewomen of UFC match, then perhaps they will keep the title away from Rousey so that someone else can defend it elsewhere on the card.

The best option in terms of an opponent for Rousey may well be Natalya. The storyline between the two women has been brewing for several months now, and it would make sense for it to come to a head on such a big stage.
