SmackDown: Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch is one of the most over female superstars in the WWE right now, and fans have been crying out for the lass kicker to finally get the recognition she deserves.
While the addition of Charlotte Flair to her SummerSlam match with Carmella seriously damages her chances of winning, it would be a smarter idea to keep the belt off Flair until a little later in the year, largely because the company are, presumably, building towards Rousey Vs Charlotte at WrestleMania.
The logic behind Lynch winning and not Flair is simple- if the company decides to go with the brand warfare gimmick again at Survivor Series, then they won’t want to give away Charlotte Vs Rousey six months before WrestleMania.
Lynch is probably second only to Charlotte on the SmackDown women’s roster right now, with Asuka having been seriously damaged by her back to back defeats at the hands of Carmella, and the former women’s champion could easily carry the belt for a few months until Flair is ready to take it off her.
The promise of several returning legends at the event also means that fans could get to see a dream-match between Lynch and a star of yesteryear.
