This might be the most sure-fire “great match” on this list. Until now, most of the matches have been based on character. This one might actually be an in-ring classic between two MMA-trained, legitimate fighters, with just enough personality clash to make it interesting.

Everyone seems to clash with the Undisputed Era during their time with NXT, and UE has become a mainstay of the yellow brand. As much as I wish Matt Riddle was in the Undisputed Era and with Kyle O’Reilly, that is more than likely an impossibility. So, let’s settle for the next best thing and have them take each other on in NXT.

By far the funny-man in Undisputed Era, O’Reilly and Riddle’s characters will probably have great chemistry together. The charisma here is intoxicating, not to mention the fact that the NXT fanbase would be in for a treat in the ring.

Give these two maybe 25 to 30 minutes for an NXT main event, or even an NXT: Takeover match, and let them tear the house down. The possibilities in the submission department for these two are endless, and by the end of this one, someone is getting beat down and folded into a pretzel.
