1: Credibility

Whether fans like him or not, there is no denying that Roman Reigns has a great look, and he is one of the more legitimate looking performers on the WWE roster.

While the likes of Finn Balor and Seth Rollins may be more universally accepted by fans, a lot of people would have a hard time buying either of them overcoming Lesnar in a fair one-on-one match.

Lesnar has been booked stronger than perhaps any other performer in WWE history, and it is going to be a big moment when he is finally kept down for the count.

Reigns has come closer than perhaps anybody else in the last 18 months to defeating Lesnar, and it would make sense if he was finally able to overcome him this time, having learned from his mistakes in previous encounters.

Lesnar’s absence off TV also means that the belt has somewhat lost its relevance over the last year, and having Reigns defending the belt frequently would help bring some prestige to it. He is a superstar who fans would buy as a fighting champion, and that is exactly what the Universal title is in desperate need of right now.
