The B-Team (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel) vs. The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder)

Result: No contest due to outside interference

Rating: 1.0 out of 5 stars

Okay, I’ll address the elephant in the room… WHO THE HECK THOUGHT THE B-TEAM NEEDED A NEW ENTRANCE THEME? This is a travesty the likes of which I haven’t seen in years. The generic alt-rock riff, the opening cry of “THESE BATTLE SCARS,” and the general nondescript nature of the theme made it beyond perfect for Axel and Dallas.

Now, what, they’re a college football team? They have a fight song? It’s because they’re “The B-Team,” isn’t it? What a joke. I am so angry at this, you have no idea.

Anyway, they face The Revival, and nothing happens because it’s WWE Raw and nothing ever happens. Dash and Dawson are doing a great job working as a cohesive unit, the B-Team are biding their time for a comeback, and whoops, here’s the Deleters of Worlds replacing the team members on the apron!

So a match that was ostensibly designed to create new challengers for the Raw Tag Team Championships ends with a team not involved in the match standing tall. Perfect. Obviously, it’s looking like a triple threat tag match is in the cards, but is that a good idea?

Sometimes, I get the idea that someone on the writing team wants to make everyone think they’re the smartest person in the world. When that person gets a chance to write something, it’s this convoluted mess that results. At least the B-Team didn’t lose this non-title match, so there’s something positive about this disaster.
