Give This Man a Grammy
Every week, I think Elias has peaked. And every week, he comes out, and somehow he gets better and better. Not since This is Spinal Tap has a rockumentary such as the undertaking Elias is in the middle of captured the hearts of American music fans.
To recap: Elias was the subject of a documentary on the WWE Network, but he didn’t think it truly captured the essence of Elias. So he set out to “do it right” by remaking it on his own. And his vision seems to be an improvement — having the camera crew orbit him like he was the center of the universe? Brilliant.

Because Elias has to protect his legacy, he wants to make sure he doesn’t get interrupted by Bobby Lashley again. I mean, did you hear Lashley murder “Rockin’ Robin” last week? I’d have Lashley on the brain, too.
But because Bob is the worst version of Beetlejuice ever, saying his name causes him to appear again. And that’s when the segment takes a hard left into Garbageville. Because once Lashley grabs a mic, it’s a disgrace.

Look, we all know this is leading to a match between these two, probably at SummerSlam. Can’t we get there without the same old trash? Elias is going to perform, and complain about Lashley. Lashley is going to interrupt and stumble through an awful promo. Elias is going to try and ambush Bob, and end up getting planted. So let’s skip that next week, and do something different, okay?
