WWE Evolution 2018: 5 Possible Matches for Trish Stratus

1. Sasha Banks

There is potentially only one opponent for a returning Trish Stratus that could provide a bigger draw than Alexa Bliss. And that is none other than Sasha Banks. Similar to Bliss, Sasha has often spoken of her admiration for Stratus and the influence that she has had on her own career.

When Trish returned in the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match in January, one of the most jaw-dropping moments was the face-off between Banks and Stratus. It was one of those iconic moments in time that will be replayed for many years to come. Eventually it was Sasha who eliminated Trish after her five minute stint in the match and that elimination could be a precursor for what’s to follow at Evolution.

Following their epic showdown at the Rumble, fans have been clamouring to have an opportunity to see these two women have a full-blown match.

While there is every chance that WWE Creative is playing a long game with the Sasha and Bayley storyline and it eventually pays off at Evolution, there is still the chance that they decide to move forwards with the match that the fans really want to see. Sasha Banks and Trish Stratus have scores of natural chemistry with each other and would provide a once-in-a-lifetime match at Evolution.
