3 Superstars That Need A Win The Most At WWE SummerSlam 2018

For as polarizing of a superstar as John Cena was, and still is quite frankly, for over a decade in the WWE, Roman Reigns has established himself as every bit as polarizing. The Big Dog’s career has been a roller coaster ride so far, but a lot of the downs have come courtesy of the current Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar and Reigns main evented WrestleMania 31 back in 2015 and they would do the same a few months back at WrestleMania 34 in a match that greatly disappointed, to say the very least. The rematch at the Greatest Royal Rumble event a few weeks later wasn’t much better and led to a controversial finish.
And at SummerSlam, the two will square off yet again with the Universal Championship on the line after Reigns defeated Bobby Lashley in a number one contender’s match a few weeks ago on Raw. The Big Dog has come up short against The Beast Incarnate too often as of late and something must change at the biggest party of the summer.
No matter what the WWE has planned for the Universal Championship, Reigns cannot lose to Lesnar again. Even if Braun Strowman ends up cashing in at SummerSlam or even the night after on Raw, Reigns simply can’t afford another straight up loss to The Beast Incarnate. His on-screen character has already been damaged enough and the WWE can’t allow it to get worse.
It’s time for The Big Dog to finally get past the Lesnar roadblock, even if it does lead to The Monster Among Men cashing in Money in the Bank.
