4. Raw Tag Team Division Has Its Best Night In Months

Fans often criticize the WWE for its handling of tag team wrestling, especially on the main roster.  And while the blue brand has a stellar tag team division that is undoubtedly the superior division on the main roster, the red brand’s tag team division has been gaining more momentum lately as well.

The unexpected team of Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt held the Raw Tag Team Championship for nearly three months before an even more unexpected team dethroned The Deleters Of Worlds at Extreme Rules, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas.  The former Miztourage duo dubbed themselves The B-Team and it has stuck so far with fans reacting to it each and every week.

The B-Team makes a living off of escaping by the skin of their teeth, but last night Axel and Dallas were up against two separate teams in The Deleters Of Worlds and The Revival in a Triple Threat Match with the Raw Tag Team Championship on the line.  The odds weren’t in The B-Team’s favor, but that’s why the match is had and that’s why Axel and Dallas are the tag team champions.

After a very solid match that has to rank among the best tag team matches Raw has had in a while, The B-Team escaped with the titles again and continued celebrating like only Axel and Dallas can.  They will defend their titles against The Revival at SummerSlam, but in the meantime, the red brand’s tag team division felt like a bigger deal last night than it has in months.

In a division that has mostly been seen as a comedy act as of late, the Raw tag team division felt like a relative equal to the SmackDown tag team division for the first time in a long time.
