Becky Lynch Continues Animosity Towards Charlotte Flair

Becky has been stuck in creative limbo ever since she lost the SmackDown Live Women’s title back in December 2016 at TLC to Alexa Bliss. So, when she made current champion Carmella tap out a few weeks ago to earn her title shot at SummerSlam fans were ecstatic. Everyone seemed ready for another Becky Lynch title run, then Charlotte Flair came along.

A few weeks ago Charlotte Flair made a surprise return to save Becky Lynch from a Carmella attack, and shortly after she made the save SmackDown Live GM Paige made the match between Charlotte and Carmella official, and if Charlotte won she would be added to the SummerSlam title match.

When Charlotte won, fans were not happy. Seeing her joining the match as WWE handing her yet another opportunity, and after the match was over you could see Becky Lynch was visually unnerved by her friend being added to the match. It will no doubt make her quest to earn her second ever SmackDown Live Women’s Championship even harder.

That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised to see Becky continue to show animosity towards Charlotte. I don’t expect to see Becky attack Charlotte, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Becky give Charlotte more bad looks throughout tonight’s episode.
