10. Sasha Banks & Bayley (last week: 10)

While The Boss and The Hugger may be on the same page in terms of friendship, their foray into non-tag team competition this week didn’t go very well. Sasha Banks took on Ruby Riott in a losing effort, and Bayley was almost less than a non-factor. In fact, if Bayley had more of a presence at ringside, things may have turned out differently.

Sure, Bayley was outnumbered outside the ring by Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan, but it took a few times of their attempted interference before Bayley got involved. By the time she did, Sasha had already taken out both Morgan and Logan with a suicide dive, and Bayley’s “help” was fruitless.

Sasha rolled back into the ring right into a roll-up, and any momentum she and Bayley had built up started to disappear.

9. Finn Bálor (last week: 5)

A week ago, Finn Bálor temporarily aligned himself with Roman Reigns to punish Constable Baron Corbin. This week, Corbin tried to return the favor by booking Finn in a one-on-two handicap match against Jinder Mahal and Kevin Owens.

Of course, Kurt Angle appeared to supersede Corbin’s authority, making it a tag team match instead. And when all was said and done, Bálor didn’t even factor into the decision. If you’re supposed to be in a match to build towards a pay per view event, and you don’t end up in the record books, did it really happen?

After the match, Corbin came out of nowhere to plant Finn with an End of Days, so the constable may have gotten the last laugh. Not the greatest week for Bálor in terms of making moves in the rankings.
