6. The Riott Squad (last week: 9)

As mentioned last week, the return of Ruby Riott is a huge boost for the Riott Squad as a whole. Getting Riott back in the ring this week is an even bigger boost, considering she picked up right where she left off before her untimely injury.

Picking up a win over Sasha Banks, even if there was some extracurricular activities outside the ring, is big for Ruby. With a spot on the SummerSlam card likely out of the question, it’s time to look ahead to Evolution in October. Stringing together wins like this should mean big things for the entire Riott Squad, especially the fearless leader.

5. Ronda Rousey (last week: 2)

Ronda Rousey is slowly proving she can do it all in WWE. Her debut match surprised almost everyone with how good it was. When she got her first singles match, it was a Raw Women’s Championship match. Last week, she had her first match on WWE Raw, and in the main event, no less.

This week, she came out solo to cut a promo. First, she was given the responsibility to pay tribute to Jim Neidhart after his passing. Some thought it was a strange decision, but based on Rousey’s history with Natalya and her own experience dealing with her father’s death, it was a logical decision at the very least.

Then, Rousey got to beat up an entire security force hired by Alexa Bliss. And before Ronda destroyed Alicia Fox yet again, she had to contend with a bat flying around the ringside area. Not a bad night’s work to prepare for SummerSlam, huh?
