5. Edge and Christian vs The Hardy Boyz vs The Dudley Boyz

When most WWE fans think about tag team wrestling, they think about the three way dances between The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge and Christian. Those three teams stole the show in their Triangle Ladder Match at WrestleMania 2000, and audiences were begging to see more of them.

Audiences certainly got more than what they bargained for as these team’s feud continued over the course of the summer. The feud intensified as they attacked each other with their signature weapons–tables for The Dudley Boyz, ladders for the Hardy Boyz, and chairs for Edge and Christian–in the weeks leading up to SummerSlam.

It was decided by the Commissioner Mick Foley that these three teams would settle their rivalry once and for all at Summerslam in the first ever TLC match with Edge and Christian’s Tag Team Championships on the line.

Many would argue that these three teams stole the show once again on this night. Not only did their feud define the Attitude Era, their work defined and inspired an entire generation of tag team wrestling. Just like at WrestleMania all those months before, Edge and Christian were able to pull down their belts for the victory.
