1. Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe vs. Braun Strowman (SummerSlam 2017)
One year ago, four superstars met in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center, and proceeded to try and murder the other three, more or less. The SummerSlam 2017 main event was an awesome display of power, full of attempts to assert dominance, and jam packed with bodies and furniture breaking.

In putting together this list, I’ve realized that Lesnar has only defended against these three superstars, plus Kane. That’s a little weird, no? Guys like Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are former world champions, and they still exist. Same goes for Finn Bálor and Kevin Owens, the first two Universal Champions (neither of whom ever received a rematch after losing the title).
But that’s neither here nor there, because these four have little to no regard for their personal well-being, or that of their opponents. If they cared in the slightest about how they’d feel in the morning after a big fight, their matches wouldn’t look like this, I can tell you that much.
Strowman continued his rise to superstardom by pulling a stretcher job on The Beast, taking him out of the match for a brief time. Spears, running powerslams, Coquina Clutches, Kimura Locks, Superman Punches — you name it, it probably happened in this match.
In the end, surprisingly, it was Roman Reigns who fell victim to a single F-5. The champion had once again stood tall, and the supposed conquering hero of WWE came up short.
Reigns gets another shot at glory this Sunday at SummerSlam 2018. Can he finally fell The Beast known as Brock Lesnar?
