WWE SummerSlam 2018: Daily DDT Staff Makes Predictions
By Bryan Heaton
With WWE SummerSlam 2018 just days away, the Daily DDT staff predicts results for the Biggest Party of the Summer. What do we think is going down in Brooklyn?
Normally, I have a big intro for our staff prediction pieces. I’ll lay out some of the bigger matches, set things up to get into the card, stuff like that. But with WWE SummerSlam 2018, that’s hard to do because there’s a lot of matches on the card. Like, a billion or so.
What’s that? It’s only thirteen matches if we count the pre-show? Good grief, it seems like there’s so much more going on, doesn’t it? Maybe it’s from a lifetime spent watching Raw, where you always get the same old same old, and it feels like a chore at times.
But there’s three matches on the SummerSlam Kickoff Show, including two championship bouts. And seven of the ten contests on the main card have a championship as the prize at the end. That’s a heck of a lot of gold up for grabs in Brooklyn. And who can forget Elias performing his “greatest song” at the Biggest Party of the Summer?
So now it’s time for some of us here at Daily DDT to predict what’s going to happen when WWE SummerSlam 2018 goes down. Now, some people think we have this magical backstage access, and we know everything that’s going to happen. But we have the same access as you, and know just as much as you.
With that, here’s the Daily DDT staff predictions for WWE SummerSlam 2018.
