Mauro Ranallo is the Man

Speaking of chants, many fans tried to start their own, ranging from the ridiculous such as, “Beachball Mania” to the incredible, “MAMMA MIA.”

Percy Watson and Nigel McGuinness first made their way to the ring to kick off the night, but it was when the voice of NXT, Mauro Ranallo, made his way down the ramp that things really got going.

The crowd immediately rose to their feet to applaud the famed NXT announcer. It wasn’t much later that a “MAMMA MIA” chant begun to signal the beginning of what would turn into a memorable event called by one of the best in the game.

The one downside of attending an NXT event is not being able to hear Ranallo call the matches, but he still somehow makes his presence known. This was made evident during the main event between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.

During a crazy sequence with tables breaking and carnage everywhere, Watson ran near the Spanish announce table, while McGuinness was in the crowd. Where was Ranallo you might ask? Right in the center of the action, practically screaming in Ciampa’s face.

It was quite the sight to see, and one that really made you appreciate how much this man cares about his craft.
