Elias Performs “His Greatest Song”
What. A. Waste.
I mean, Elias getting a spot on WWE SummerSlam 2018 is nice and all, but for that? And, yes, Bobby Lashley seemed a sure bet to interfere and ruin it. But he didn’t, so that’s a bonus.
Still, the result of Elias performing what was billed as his “greatest song” was disappointing. Surely, Elias is like every other musician nowadays, who performs with a backing track. So he broke his guitar in twain — big deal. Sing along to the backing track, buddy!

Instead, the neck snapped off Elias’s guitar, and it elicited chants of “You Deserve It” from the crowd. Man, that’s sad. And, as one would expect him to do, Elias threw a temper tantrum usually associated with a major rock star.
Then, that was it.
Clearly, Elias and his “performance” was the intermission following the first half of the show. If we needed a legit intermission, why not just straight up do an intermission? There’s no commercials in a pay per view, people need to get up and move around — give them the chance. The people at home can watch one of nine hundred videos hyping the rest of the card. Everybody wins, and you don’t have to torpedo a guy like Elias and make him look like a chump.
