Just because WWE SummerSlam 2018 was an above average pay per view doesn’t mean it was free from some bad booking. Here are the worst booking decisions from the show.

WWE SummerSlam 2018 is behind us and now the WWE Universe can look forward to Hell in a Cell. The PPV sure had its fair share of awe-inspiring moments and spots. The entire first half of the PPV, leading up to Elias’s performance was red-hot and was far, far better than the second half. There were no surprises, however; nothing that made the fans go ‘Whoa’.

Dean Ambrose did not turn on Seth Rollins, nor did Jason Jordan show up at any point. Kevin Owens was brutally squashed by the Monster Among Men and Ronda Rousey snatched the Raw Women’s Title away from Alexa Bliss. Roman Reigns has finally conquered the Beast and now the Universal Championship will be in the house on Monday nights week after week. Moreover, with his good brother Seth Rollins holding the IC title and Dean Ambrose back in the mix, expect some sparks to fly come Monday night.

On the SmackDown side of things though, things were much more interesting and brutal. The Bludgeon Brothers and the New Day put each other through hell, perhaps to build towards an even more brutal match at Hell in a Cell. The same scenario panned out when AJ Styles went out of control and beat the hell out of Samoa Joe.

Despite such gruesome and violent moment, the PPV certainly had its questionable moments too. Here, we take a look at three of worst booking decisions that could have been altered.
