2. The Bludgeon Brothers win by DQ

The idea here might have been to build towards another match at Hell in a Cell. But that is a route we saw last year as well. Remember when the New Day and the Usos put each other through literal hell inside the cage last year? I have no doubt the Bludgeon Brothers and the New Day will do the same this year as well, if they are given the chance.

After seeing the level of violence and brutality that unfolded during their match last night, I am excited to see these two teams mix it up more. However, the question has to be asked; if the match was to end in a DQ finish, what was the point of having the New Day in there? Or having the whole tag team tournament. It could just as well have been the Bar gritting it out against Harper and Rowan. The match would have been just as brutal then as well.

Instead, the New Day, who really has nothing left to accomplish as a tag team is in the run for the gold once again. Moreover, the DQ finish, which came intentionally at the hands of Rowan seriously took away from the action. If anything it made the challengers look weak and on some levels, scared of losing their titles to the babyfaces. The DQ or count out finish could have been booked in a number of other ways that would have been more sensible over all.
