Rumours had begun circulating that an Asuka vs Lita match had been booked for Evolution, but these proved to be false. Regardless, this would prove to be a booking mistake. The fantasy match that most fans hope to see is a battle of two fiery redheads.
Becky Lynch squaring off against Lita is a match made in heaven and if the WWE booking team has any sense, they’ll ensure this match goes ahead at Evolution. It certainly appears that Lynch may be about to enter a compelling feud with Charlotte Flair following the outcome of their match with Carmella at SummerSlam, but that could easily be paused to make room for this dream match.
Similar to Ruby Riott, Becky’s appearance and in-ring style are clearly influenced by the great Lita. From her steampunk inspired outfits to her outstanding technical skills, Lynch is very much in the mould of the Hall of Famer.

A match between these two need be nothing more than an exhibition between one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of her generation and arguably the best women’s wrestler of the current generation. This is a one-off event that could very easily main event Evolution and added to the already announced Bliss vs Stratus match, would make for an extremely stacked card.
