WWE SmackDown 5 Predictions: Samoa Joe Will Go On A Path Of Destruction
4: The Miz beat Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, So Here’s What’s Next
You didn’t read that wrong, and I didn’t make a mistake, The Miz won, and was absolutely the right move for WWE.
This feud has been building for eight years, and it has had many chapters, and this isn’t the last one. But it is the last one, for now.
Miz beat Daniel. He did what he said he was going to do, and now, it’s time for him to move on. He needs to find another feud to hold him over until he can go after the WWE Championship.
Miz said many interesting things in his backstage promo after his match with Daniel, but one thing stood out to me above all the others. “I have the hardest punch in the WWE.” One other man has been known to have the “hardest punch in WWE,” and that man is Big Show.
Big Show stated recently, in an interview with ESPN.com’s Jacob Wolf, that he is ready to make his in-ring return following his hip surgery back in September.
Big Show was a member of the Raw roster when the injury took place, and there was no mention of him during the draft, but many superstars come back from injuries on a different the other brand, and there’s no reason Big Show can’t do the same thing.
We’ve seen these two face off before, and seeing them face off again wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Both men are entertaining to watch in the ring, and Big Show proved in his feud with Strowman that he can still go.
While it may just be a filler feud for Miz, that’s exactly what he needs. He doesn’t need to go after Shinsuke and the US Title, because Nakamura shouldn’t drop the belt anytime soon, and while Miz is gold with any title, him holding the US Title only delays the title run we really want to see.
