WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 Match Card Predictions Version 1.0

Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Rusev vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas For The United States Championship

It’s hard to come up with future opponents for Shinsuke Nakamura after his victory over Jeff Hardy at SummerSlam, because there aren’t many babyfaces on SmackDown Live. But after their mixed tag feud with Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega, it looks like Rusev Day are full-on babyfaces with plenty of momentum for a title opportunity.

Rusev and Nakamura had a great match at Fastlane that nearly stole the show from the loaded WWE Championship main event. The crowd was hot for both wrestlers, as Nakamura was a babyface at the time and Rusev was always a face in the crowd’s eyes.

With the roles reversed, a United States Championship match at Hell in a Cell between these two could be even better. Throw in Andrade “Cien” Almas and his business associate, and you have a recipe for something special. Imagine the chaos with Lana, Vega, and Aiden English roaming ringside.

Although I’d love to see Almas or Rusev with the United States Championship, the title is made to commemorate the United States of Nakamerica. So in my book, there is only one worth United States Champion right now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a finish that allows Rusev to get another opportunity at the title, because it isn’t impossible for him to win it.
