WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 Match Card Predictions Version 1.0
Seth Rollins And Dean Ambrose vs. Drew McIntyre And Dolph Ziggler
I have a feeling WWE will want to keep protecting Drew McIntyre for a future Universal Championship feud against Roman Reigns, especially after the two squared off in a Triple Threat qualifying match weeks ago (Finn Balor was also involved).
McIntyre is the rare NXT call-up who has felt special for months since arriving on the main roster, so they are only going to have him win marquee matches. And I doubt he’ll get any singles title shots before gunning for the IC Championship.
With Dean Ambrose in his corner, Seth Rollins finally overcame Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam, defeating “The Show-Off’ in a barnburner of an opener to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship. Although I’d love to see that title on the line at Hell in a Cell, I think Rollins has some Open Challenges on Raw set soon, and WWE might not want to run through even more of them too soon.
This story isn’t completely over, because the final loose end is watching Ambrose and Rollins defeat Ziggler and McIntyre to show which tag team is superior. At SummerSlam, Rollins already showed unequivocally that he is better than Ziggler one-on-one inside the squared circle. Will “Ambrollins” be able to do the same as a unit?
