Daniel Bryan And Brie Bella vs. The Miz And Maryse

Maryse got involved in The Miz’s match against Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam, slipping the A-Lister brass knuckles at ringside to allow her husband to land a cheap victory over the WWE Universe’s underdog of choice.

Miz came out on the following episode of SmackDown Live, tearfully announcing his retirement…from ever facing Daniel Bryan again. It was more brilliant heel work from The Miz, but the win showed that this rivalry is far from over. And while all of the emotions involved would have been conducive to a brilliant Hell in a Cell match, WWE doesn’t want to have too many singles matches between these two due to the slow-burning nature of this storyline. This is WrestleMania-worthy for sure.

So instead, we’re getting a mixed tag match at Hell in a Cell, in which a returning Brie Bella teams up with Daniel Bryan to take on The Miz and Maryse. This should be an exciting match that is the definition of “Sports Entertainment”, and the segments leading up to the match should be just as golden. “Total Bellas BS” anyone?

It’s great to see Brie back, and it will be a treat to watch her and Bryan work together against The Miz and Maryse. I mean, seeing Brie beat up The Miz was quite awesome!
