5. Hiromu Takahashi

Granted, we have to wait for Takahashi to come back from his neck injury. He suffered a broken neck in July and frankly, no one knows if he’ll ever be the same again. Nevertheless, Takahashi has somewhat recently transformed himself into one of the best junior heavyweights in the entire world. He sadly had to give up his IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship just a few days ago, but he should be back by mid-2019. Hopefully, Neville has his sights set on the Ticking Time Bomb.

This match, really, can only be contested at beyond breakneck pace. Anything less than an absolutely insane spottiest of a bout would be a grave disappointment, but it’s highly unlikely that Takahashi and Neville wouldn’t deliver a classic. Both are some of the most talented wrestlers in the world, bar none, and not to mention the fact that they will constantly throw caution to the wind in order to put on a great match.

Keep your eyes on Neville in the coming weeks and months, because it’s quite likely that he could venture out to New Japan Pro Wrestling for a spell. Should he wait a while, his appearance could perfectly line up with Takahashi’s return from injury. Not only would this provide for an absolutely face-melting Best of the Super Juniors tournament, but a clash with Takahashi over the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship could be the stuff of legends.
