Five Non-WWE Dream Matches for Neville

3. Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega is one of, if not the single best wrestler in the entire world. Not only is it nearly impossible to have a bad match with the self-proclaimed “Best Bout Machine” but it’s just as hard to have a “just good” match. Omega, no matter who his opponent is, continually puts out great match after incredible match after instant classic. There are few opponents that Omega can have that are able to equal that level of talent and mastery of their craft. Fortunately for us, Neville is one of them.
Despite the small weight difference which causes a class difference in NJPW, Neville and Omega could have a barnburner of a match within the confines of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Both understand match psychology, selling, and physical storytelling to a T. Not only are these the foundations of most great matches, but they are some of the defining pillars of NJPW’s best bouts ever. The entire Omega vs. Okay saga, as well as Okada’s feud with Hiroshi Tanahashi, is built upon the story being told within the squared circle. While both Omega and Neville are terrific on the mic, they can just as easily keep their mouths shut, and let their in-ring work do the talking.
NJPW, this is not hard to make easy. Both of these wrestlers are terrific, it may be best to let them just do what they do best, and let whatever storyline that may form play itself out within the ring.
