With just under two weeks left before MLW War Games invades Fort Lauderdale on September 6, every fighter on the roster is looking to ride into the War Memorial Auditorium on a high note. This week, Team Filthy look to exact revenge on the Stud Stable while the Lucha Bros defend their MLW World Tag Team Titles against ACH and Rich Swann.

We start this week’s episode off with a recap of what went down at MLW Fusion 18 between Colonel Robert Parker’s Stud Stable and Team Filthy. Last week, Mike Parrow answered Tom Lawlor’s challenge to a fight in Team Filthy’s gym. The two squared off in an octagon with Lawlor tapping Parrow out only to have Lawlor’s trainer, Seth Petruzelli, left beaten and bloodied at the hands of The Dirty Blondes.

In pre-taped comments, Lawlor lets Parker and his charges know that he’s coming for one man to end things once and for all – Jake Hager. Lawlor lets Parker and the rest of the Stable know that he’s done playing games and that Hager is “going to the glue factory” the next time they meet.

MLW cameras also caught up with Parker and crew after the fight at The Jungle with Parker upset with Parrow for not getting the victory. Parker turns his attention to the Blondes whom he praises for taking Petruzelli out before Hager mocks Lawlor for believing that he would actually step into the cage and fight him.

The Dirty Blondes vs Team Filthy

Team Filthy is out in full force with Lawlor backing Simon Gotch and Fred Yehi while Parker and Parrow are out with the Blondes. This match is kept short with the Blondes demonstrating their tag team experience to double-team and take advantage of the relatively new tandem of Gotch and Yehi.

With a brief referee distraction, Lawlor nails Michael Patrick with a chair as he rebounds off of the ropes which allows Gotch to snatch him up in a small package. Lawlor tosses the referee to Parrow on the floor who then finds himself being admonished by the official. Gotch keeps Patrick in the small package for a painful amount of time but the official eventually turns around the count the three.

After the match, the dissension is clear between the Stud Stable. Parrow tries to make amends and to explain that he only had the chair because Lawlor threw it at him, but it looks like another mark against him from where Parker is sitting. Parrow is in danger of getting lost in the shuffle a bit here. Team Filthy is a three-man group and the Stud Stable would become a trio without him; if Parrow finds himself on the outs with Parker, he could find himself swimming with sharks as he looks to navigate the dangerous, faction-heavy waters of MLW.
