Sasha Banks as Rogue

Rogue is a well-known hero within the X-Men, as part of the Marvel universe. As a mutant with superhuman abilities, Rogue debuted as a villain in Avengers Annual #10, but later joined the X-Men, thereafter.

Rogue’s powers are devastatingly powerful. She can absorb, and at times remove, memories, physical strength, and superpowers of anyone she touches, or touches her. Because her powers were so strong and life-threatening, Rogue limited any physical contact with others until she could gain full control.

As one of the most prominent members of the X-Men since her debut in the 80s, Rogue started as a young woman who had trouble fitting in and liking herself. Her self-doubt and self-loathing led her to the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, where she worked as a supervillain for some time, before Professor X convinced her to join his school. Gathering the self confidence she needed from other members of the X-Men, Rogue grew into a mutant with a heart; using her powers to heal other mutants and humans, even at the cost of her own health.

Banks, too, has abilities that few other competitors can boast. She’s participated in a lot of WWE Women’s Division “firsts”, including acting as one the first women to headline a major WWE pay-per-view event, which would definitely put her at the top of the list of most prominent women wrestlers.

Though The Boss doesn’t lack any self-confidence, her inner turmoil with her own strength and abilities causes conflict within her performances and friendships. Sasha started as a relentless heel, who later searched for a sense of community. In finding friendship with other wrestlers, such as Bayley, Banks used her powers for good, sometimes sabotaging her own growth.

Regardless of the interpersonal conflicts Banks finds herself in, her ability to destroy any opponent, compete with unmatched stamina, and be adored by fans regardless of character status makes her one of the most dangerous superheroes in WWE.
