3 Possible Matches for Finn Balor at WWE Hell in a Cell 2018

1. Constable Baron Corbin

Unfortunately the most likely outcome for Finn at Hell in a Cell is that we see a SummerSlam rematch. Due to the nature by which Balor defeated Corbin, this has left open the possibility for these rivals to add one more match to their rivalry. With new found power as the acting RAW General Manager, Corbin will likely demand a match at Hell in a Cell against Balor. His conditions will of course stipulate that Balor cannot appear as “The Demon”, but perhaps this opens up the possibility of a gimmick match.

It would be unusual that Corbin would book himself inside the Hell in a Cell structure, but it may be the only way that Balor agrees to a rubber match. It’s also one of the only tools the creative team have left at their disposal to maintain any kind of fan interest in this match.

While it may not be Satan’s Structure itself, there is a strong possibility that Balor and Corbin compete one more time in some type of gimmick match. The outcome is less easy to predict as the company seems to have big plans for both men – perhaps on this occasion, Balor will be sacrificed to build the dastardly, autocratic Constable Corbin character as he ascends the ladder. Let’s maintain hope, though, that there are still plans for Balor’s eventual return to main event status.
