3: Kharma

Kharma, or Awesome Kong as she was also known, is one of the biggest ‘what ifs’ in recent WWE history.

After finding huge success in TNA as Awesome Kong, Kharma was renamed for the WWE and a series of vignettes aired teasing her arrival.

She made her presence felt when she attacked Diva’s champion Michelle McCool upon her arrival in the company, but only a few weeks into her run in the company, she was written off TV because of a real-life pregnancy.

Kharma would only be seen once more in the WWE, making a brief cameo in the 2012 Royal Rumble and becoming only the third women in history to enter the match. She would leave the WWE only a few months later.

Kharma would then return to TNA for a brief run before leaving the company in early 2016 because of a backstage incident.

Since leaving the ring, Kharma, real name, Kia Stevens, has become a star on the Netflix series, Glow, which follows the story of an independent female wrestling promotion in the 1980’s.

Kharma is one of the most impressive female performers of the last 10 years, and WWE fans were robbed of ever seeing her perform properly inside a WWE ring. With her newfound success as an actress, the company should really try and bring her back for a match at Evolution. Kharma Vs Nia Jax, anybody?

4: Gail Kim.

The likelihood of Gail Kim ever returning to the WWE is very slim. In fact, she was the only performer on this list not listed on the WWE’s alumni page.

Not only has the former Women’s champion officially announced her retirement from the industry, but she also stated when she left the WWE in 2011, that she would never work for the company again.

Kim was a genuinely talented women’s wrestler during her time in the WWE, and she cited the company’s booking of female performers as her main reason for wanting out of the company when she left.

Kim would go on to have a successful career in TNA/Impact when she left the WWE and became the first ever female inductee into the company’s hall of fame in 2016.
