Rumors are swirling that Neville is out of the WWE and headed to the independent circuit. With that in mind, here’s a look back to his best five matches while he was a part of the WWE roster.

Talent recognizes talent and that’s exactly what happened when news broke a few days back that Neville is no longer under WWE contract. The former NXT and cruiserweight champion last appeared on WWE programming back in October.

In between now and then, the promotion tried to negotiate to bring Neville back into the fold; especially as the 205 Live brand continued to grow in popularity. Unfortunately for the company, they were unable to convince him to return to the ring and his time under contract eventually expired.

However, this is a potentially exciting time for the 32-year old competitor. Fans and professional wrestling experts around the industry are looking to predict where he will turn up next. Names such as New Japan, Ring of Honor, Impact wrestling and more seem like viable options.

While that discussion continues on, it’s worthwhile to look back on what Neville was able to accomplish while in the WWE. At 5 feet, 8 inches and 194 pounds, Neville may have been of small stature, but he excelled in multiple opportunities in the ring.

Whether it was a part of the NXT brand, during his time on the main roster, or his combined 233 days as champion; Neville has a catalog worth of WWE matches that should be praised and fondly remembered. Looking back, these are Neville’s top five matches while he was a part of the WWE roster.
