Kazuchika Okada (CHAOS) vs. Marty Scurll (Bullet Club Elite)

Scurll pushed Okada against the ropes and out wrestled Okada early on, but Okada responded with a shoulder block. Scurll chopped Okada, but Okada responded with a suplex. Scurll hit a tope on Okada. Okada hit a flapjack back in the ring, and Scurll was down. Okada was selling his arm, as Scurll was working on it. On the outside, Okada beat Scurll around ringside and then hit a slingshot senton on Scurll.

Okada and Scurll had a test of strength, and Marty actually managed to overpower Okada and hit a lung blower! Scurll hit a superkick to Okada’s knee and then an enziguri, but Okada kicked out. Marty went for a move he calls The Graduation, but Okada countered, hit a flying forearm and then a DDT, but Marty kicked out.

Marty hit a European Uppercut, Okada blocked a kick, hit one of his own, and Marty countered and hit a brainbuster! Okada got up and hit an Air Raid Crash, but Marty kicked out. Okada went to top rope, but Marty cut him off and went for a superplex. Marty hit a huge one, and Okada sold like he was dead.

There was a series of pinfall of exchanges, and Marty almost got the pinfall. Marty hit a snap powerbomb, but Okada kicked out. Okada made it to the top rope and hit a flying dropkick on Scurll, but Scurll kicked out. Okada went for the tombstone, but Marty got out. Marty countered a tombstone with a DDT, but went for his own tombstone, and Okada countered and hit one of his own.

Okada went for a Rainmaker, but Marty countered and broke Okada’s fingers! Marty hit the ropes, and Okada hit a dropkick! Marty countered a Rainmaker with a Chicken Wing, but Okada fought out, and dropped backwards, breaking the hold. Marty sat back up and locked it in again! Okada rolled through and Marty kicked out. Okada accidentally hit the referee after Scurll shoved him. Marty grabbed an umbrella, nailed Okada, and hit a Rainmaker! Okada kicked out!

Marty went for the Chicken Wing, but Okada countered and hit the Rainmaker! Both men are down! Marty begged Okada for more, and Okada hit a series of forearms. Marty spit in Okada’s face and slapped him! Okada hit a spinning Rainmaker, and followed with a regular one, just killing Scrull. Okada wins!

This match was so awesome. Okada was determined to get Scurll over as a major main eventer, and I think he succeeded, and Scurll looked like an absolute star in that one.
