Chelsea Green and Britt Baker

There is no doubt that all four of the women involved in the Four-Way match put on tremendous performances, but I’d like to highlight Chelsea Green and Britt Baker in particular for their work in this match.

These two wrestlers are close friends with plenty of in-ring history in between them, as Baker betrayed Green earlier this summer before explaining her actions on RISE’s Ascent. There aren’t many wrestlers on the planet who share the special chemistry that these two do, and their ability to work magic together was on display at All In whenever they had exchanges with each other.

I have always been a huge fan of Green’s character work, going as far as to rank her as one of the best 20 characters in wrestling in 2017. All of this talent was apparent at All In, because Green had the crowd enthralled with her split personalties (the handshake with Madison Rayne was brilliant).

She showed off for the camera, she tried to play mindgames with her competitors, and she honestly made this show ten times more entertaining than it would have been without her, even if she was only a seemingly small part of the show.

While Green had a strong showing in the ring, I thought Britt Baker was arguably the standout of the match. Her execution in the ring is criminally underrated, and I could watch her slingblades on loop for hours. The advanced exchanges she and Green had are worth praising, and it seems like Baker’s attention to detail is second to none.

Of course, would this piece be complete without acknowledging Green’s “Broski” tribute to Zack Ryder or Baker coming out to Adam Cole’s old, amazing “Something For You” theme from Ring of Honor?
