Bandido

In a main event match that included Rey Mysterio, Kota Ibushi, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and the electric Rey Fenix, it was Bandido who came out of it making the biggest splash. Bandido is the perfect example of how a young star can seize an opportunity to make a name for themselves by going all-out, even if they are only given a few minutes to truly shine.

It’s hard to believe that Bandido is just 23 with the advanced understanding he shows in the ring and the level of difficulty of his moves. He seems like one of those wrestlers you absolutely must keep an eye on at all times, because he will inevitably do something that will make you jump out of your seat.

I am excited to see what he has planned for us in the years to come, and I am glad that the Young Bucks and Cody gave him a chance to pop the crowd in the main event of All In.

Stephen Amell

Although Stephen Amell vs. Christopher Daniels was never going to be one of the standout matches on the card, I thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was. This was an entertaining back-and-forth in which Amell sought to earn the respect of pro wrestling fans for his pro wrestling ability, and so by the time Daniels raised his hand after a close loss, that’s exactly what ended up happening for Amell.

I can’t tell you how many fans on Twitter praised Amell for his work last night, as they were pleasantly surprised with his wrestling ability. Daniels helped him through it, yes, but that was always going to be the case. However, he didn’t necessarily go easy on Amell either, and the nearfalls Amell had on Daniels were 100% believable.

Even the spot where Daniels laid himself out on the table for Amell was great, because it was Daniels, the veteran, suckering in Amell, the man trying to live his dream. Amell crashed and burned hard on the table, but he showed great guts, with a little boost from special gust referee Jerry Lynn, to fight past the pain.

This is the ideal celebrity match in pro wrestling, so kudos to Daniels, Amell, and All In for pulling it off the right way.
