2. User Created Playlists
The WWE Network has a basic Watchlist that you can add shows and ‘milestones’ to, but it is for personal use only. A next level feature that could be added would be the ability for users to generate playlists of milestones, matches and events that they could then share on social media or embed on their own websites and blogs.
The content would still be behind the paywall of the WWE Network and a message would come up as standard asking you to login to watch the videos. But once that’s done, WWE will have provided the means for unique and potentially infinite ways of sharing their library.
Is Daniel Bryan your favourite Superstar? Use this feature to create a playlist of his Top 10 matches, victories, Yes Locks, Yes Kicks or whatever your imagination can come up with.
Is the Royal Rumble your favourite event? Create a playlist of your favourite surprise entrants over the years, then embed it on your website or link to it on social media. The possibilities are endless.
Of course there needs to be an improvement in an existing feature to make this easier and more user-friendly to do…
