A lot of how we consume video is done through phones, tablets and other mobile devices. It can be an ideal distraction on long commutes by bus, by train or by aeroplane. A lot of the time though while travelling or staying in temporary accommodation we do not have access to a Wi-Fi hot spot, and if we do so does every other random Joe and Jane that might be about.

We could connect to the WWE Network if we’ve got cellular access but a lot of us also have limited monthly data plans we don’t want to blow through.

A solution offered by services like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and premium versions Vimeo or YouTube is the ability to download their videos to watch later. Often these downloads come with a time limit condition like 30 days, 48 hours or until the next time you make a successful connection with your active account.

Why can’t WWE Network offer the same? Having a download of the latest episode of NXT or 205 Live I’ve yet to see, in a quality that suits my slate’s internal or external memory needs could come in really handy when I’m somewhere with limited online access. It would benefit millions of other Network subscribers too.
