Naomi vs. Peyton Royce
Naomi is back in action after having lost to Billie Kay and Peyton Royce in back-to-back weeks. She’s taken to Twitter to ask for help from the likes of Bianca Belair and Asuka, and it will be interesting to see if she has to fight this one alone. This is another story where the babyface has to face an uphill battle against the numbers game, so she’s likely in need of help.
Immediately when the match starts, Naomi starts going after Royce with fists of fury, as she’s absolutely done with the IIconics.
Naomi takes out Royce and Kay with a two-for-one move, and she is on absolute fire! She ends up winning the match with a beautiful sunset flip on Royce!

However, she doesn’t get a chance to celebrate, as Kay attacks Naomi from behind. Both the IIconics start beating up Naomi, slamming her into the ring post and taunting her.
In the middle of the attack, Asuka’s music hits, and the Empress of Tomorrow is indeed here to save Naomi from SmackDown Live’s most endearingly annoying heel duo!
Asuka takes out the IIconics with her powerful moves, sending Kay and Royce into retreat. She then leaves the ring to check on Naomi, and it looks like a friendship is born.
Grade: VERY GOOD, A short and sweet match, and a great pay-off with Asuka coming out! It’s always awesome to see her on my TV screen.
