Samoa Joe Cuts Another Promo

Samoa Joe addresses Wendy Styles with his trademark “OHHHH WENDDDYYY” cry. He reasons that he isn’t a monster, but rather a hero. Joe says he’s the reason why Styles is at home to tuck in Annie, addressing AJ’s daughter. And he adds that there will be more to come, because a “very, very bad man” will take “daddy’s championship” at Hell in a Cell.

Wow. Just wow. Joe remains untouchable.

Styles shows up on the titantron. He says that he gets threatening another man. But threatening someone’s family? The WWE Champion says that the talking stops. And it literally does. Because Styles just stares into the screen until he makes his entrance.

When Styles doesn’t immediately come out after his music hits, Joe takes a quick look over his shoulder in case he’ll get accosted from behind. But he knows Styles doesn’t play that game, and Styles does make his entrance.

Although Styles charges the ring to attack Joe, it is Joe who has the advantage. He manhandles styles and brings out a steel chair to the outside. Instead, Styles recovers and hits the Samoan Submission Machine with a Phenomenal Forearm.

Officials have to come from the back to stop Styles from hitting Joe in the skull with a steel chair. Styles puts the chair down. goes back in the ring, and hits a massive crossbody on Joe and the officials before Paige stops the fight.

There are huge “Let Them Fight!” chants from the crowd, and Styles tries to charge at Joe before the officials hold him back.

This. Was. Intense. I can’t wait for this match at Hell in a Cell!

Grade: MUST-SEE. Everything about this from Joe’s promo to the brawl was must-see. What a feud.
