R-Truth Finally Meets Carmella

R-Truth finally met up with Carmella backstage, but he first asked Carmella if she knew where Carmella is. What a great start! After struggling to convince Carmella to call a “truce” (I’m dying over here!) and be in his corner tonight against Miz and Maryse, he reveals to Carmella that Maryse called her “Staten Island trash”.

Mella retaliated by stating that Maryse is a talentless blonde barbie bimbo who would be bagging groceries in Montreal if it weren’t for The Miz. It’s ON and Truth has some help for his main event match against SmackDown Live. And when Tye Dillinger realized that Truth is, in fact, a genius, he gave a pretty awesome smile.

Grade: Segment of the year candidate, and I’m not even kidding. This was over-the-top hilarious from everyone, especially Truth.

The Usos vs. Rusev Day vs. Sanity

This is a Tag Team Triple Threat match, with the winner facing The Bar. Whoever wins between that tag team and The Bar will face New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. So this is a high stakes tag matchup with three of the best tag teams in WWE, and I couldn’t be more excited to watch this. If Rusev Day win, that would be huge, though they are underdogs.

The match started to heat up when Killian Dain hit an incredibly impressive dropkick that sent Jey Uso flying outside the ring. Eric Young followed that up with a massive elbow drop on Jey outside the ring, which gave Sanity all the momentum heading into the commercial break.

But the Usos got their momentum back, as Jimmy hit his hot tag on Young, who was then met by a hungry Rusev after Rusev tagged himself into the match. Rusev nailed Young with a spin kick, and you could feel the vibe in the entire arena change.

Jey Uso tried to steal a win with an Uso Splash, but Aiden English saved the match at the last possible moment. Rusev tried to follow up Jey with a dive outside the ring, but he was caught by Jey.

English saved the match three times in total before Rusev hit a Machka Kick on Eric Young for the 1-2-3. After so many setbacks, English was finally the hero of the story, completing his redemption. And it’s Rusev vs. The Bar next, with the winner set to face The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
