2.) A Win Over These Wrestlers Wouldn’t Mean Much

At this point, Curt Hawkins’ losing streak has become “a thing” and when he does eventually collect a win, it will definitely be “a moment.” You can’t have a moment against just anyone. It has to be someone the crowd is going to care about. We’re looking for guys that would get a reaction out of the audience, whether it be because the fans love him or they hate him. This should knock out a decent amount of potential suitors.

For this round of eliminations, we’re going to lose Burch, Ohno, Reeves, Strong, Lars, Lorcan, Keith Lee, Young, Dain, Harper, Sin Cara, Crews, Kanellis, No Way Jose, Benjamin, R Truth, Titus, Slater and Rhyno. Here we lost a bunch of NXT guys that just aren’t there yet in popularity and also some main roster superstars who aren’t featured as much on television.

Alternative Reality: Curt Hawkins ends his losing streak against No Way Jose

In another universe, Curt Hawkins will see his losing streak continue all the way until the RAW after WrestleMania. He has been in a feud with No Way Jose, who recently turned heel and doesn’t dance anymore. This culminates with a match in front of a hot crowd. Hawkins shocks the world as he pins Jose, 1-2-3, and the arena erupts as Michael Cole screams, “NO WAY JOSE! HAWKINS! YOU DID IT!”

3.) Superstars Who Aren’t Around or Won’t Be Around

Whether it be because of injury or impending retirement, some of the options on WWE’s roster just wouldn’t make much sense for a potential clash with Hawkins. As much as I’d like to see  the prospect of Hawkins deleting Matt Hardy for good and sending him into retirement, I just don’t see that happening. A matchup with Shane McMahon for control of Smackdown Live in 2020 doesn’t seem too appealing either. Those are a couple of reasons why we’re going to lose Kane, Shane McMahon, Goldust and Matt Hardy.

Alternative Reality: Hawkins Becomes Mayor of Knox County

In this reality, Curt Hawkins challenges the Big Red Machine to the first ever “Winner Takes Knox County Match.” In this contest, if Hawkins were to come out on top, he would immediately take over as mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Kane would have no choice but to answer Hawkins’ challenge on an episode of RAW in 2019 taking place in Tennessee. The pressure would become to much for Kane leading to a shock upset for the new mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, Mr. Curt Hawkins.
