9.) Who Will Curt Hawkins Beat to End His Losing Streak?

We’ve made it to the final four and while any of these guys would be great choices to lose to Curt Hawkins, we can only choose one. To decide, we’ll take into consideration all of the 8 questions above. The first man we’ll eliminate from consideration is Elias. While Elias did have the crowd cheering for Hawkins during their last encounter, he could fall under the list of guys who might not be able to afford a loss. He’s still attempting to build his legitimacy as a contender on the RAW roster and needs to stack up some wins.

For similar reasons, we’ll toss out Mojo Rawley as well. Rawley shows flashes of brilliance as a heel, but he still doesn’t resonate with the crowd the way he’d like just yet. The dynamic between the two would be intriguing, but it would be hard to take the former Hype Bro seriously after a loss to Hawkins.

That leaves us with a friend in Zack Ryder and a boss in Baron Corbin. A grueling match where Hawkins and Ryder tear each other apart with the streak finally coming to an end would make for a great story. It would be nice to see both men hug it out, as Ryder realizes that he put it all out there against his best friend.

However, at the end of the day, the crowd needs to be behind Hawkins and it’s not definite that they would be 100% behind him in a match against Ryder. That’s where Corbin steps in.

Constable Baron Corbin is universally hated by fans young and old. With Hawkins’ career on the line, it would bring out the best in him and would bring out the worst in Corbin. A ton of near-finishes and close calls would highlight this 15-minute back-and-forth match that would have fans wondering if Hawkins would actually be leaving RAW without a win.

However, in the end, Hawkins would prevail and the crowd would jump to their feet in excitement. Wrestling is all about feel-good moments and it’s about time Curt Hawkins has his. The man was a main fixture in the company, following around Edge. Then, he left for a while, before working hard toward an eventual comeback. It’s only fitting that his 200+ match losing streak comes to an end while literally fighting for his job. All streaks must come to an end, and it’s time for this stretch of losing to turn into a new streak; 1-0.
