WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 Predictions: It’s Samoa Joe’s Time

The Miz and Maryse vs. Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan

Over the long-term, I can’t think of a feud I’m more amped for than The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan, and I like this little detour at Hell in a Cell. You want to slowly milk this feud for all the drama, hatred, and hair-rising promos that it will potentially give us. The WWE needs to build this to a thunderous crescendo at WrestleMania 35, so instead of going all-out at Hell in a Cell, mixing it up with a little mixed tag action is the right way to go.

The Miz and Maryse are WWE’s power couple, as evidenced by the success of “Miz and Mrs.”, in addition to Miz’s underhanded victory over Bryan at SummerSlam. Maryse was in the crowd and slipped Miz some brass knuckles so he could pick up a victory over Bryan, who has been firing on all cylinders in the ring over the past couple of months.

Bryan managed to defeat Andrade “Cien” Almas on the last episode of SmackDown Live, but Zelina Vega/Almas and Miz/Maryse have been busy making life a living hell for both Brie Bella and Bryan.

This match could truly go either way, especially since Brie is such an X-Factor here. She can dominate Maryse and even take the fight to the Miz. But at the same, I feel like WWE needs to play up the fact that Bryan can’t beat The Miz. So regardless of the fact that Miz and Maryse have consistently bested Bryan and Brie, I think the Miz needs some more ammo to rub it in.
