Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy Inside Hell in a Cell

I am so excited and scared for this match that these two emotions have become so intertwined that I don’t have a hope of separating them. On the one hand, I am hyped for the pure vitriol that Randy Orton has thrown at Jeff Hardy in this feud, and I can’t wait to see Hardy beat his ass. But I’m also 90% sure Orton is winning her, and I’m 99.9% sure that Hardy will do something so insane that I might pass out on my laptop during the match.

This match exists so Hardy can use Hell in a Cell as a masochist’s playground, which is, incidentally, what Orton has done throughout his career. The Hell in a Cell match is Orton’s bitch, and even though Hardy asked for this match, he’s about to find out what it really means to challenge Randall Keith in his territory.

Orton is out to erase Hardy. His sole purpose in life right now is to make sure the fans never cheer Hardy again. Hardy can Swanton off the cage or do any number of crazy moves that Orton himself has admonished, and it will all be for naught.

That’s because Orton has yet to use those three powerful letters on Hardy throughout this feud. When he does, the crowd will cheer. And their cheers will come when Orton has erased Hardy’s career with an insane counter into an RKO.

On the next episode of SmackDown Live, Orton will show the fans that there is a special place in hell earmarked for their desire to cheer WWE Superstars figuratively (sometimes literally) killing themselves in the name of entertaining bloodthirsty spectators.

Prediction: Randy Orton
