Ruby Riott – The Next Great Underdog

It’s no secret that on a roster full of wonderfully unique women, Ruby Riott still manages to stand out. Tattoos, an undercut, and a rule-breaking swagger, Ruby know how to bring the edge, and she knows when to bring the fight.

However, as we’ve seen in wrestling before, and as many of us can relate to in our daily lives, sometimes being that different doesn’t make you many friends. A great way to allow Ruby to shine as a singles competitor would be to let the idea of being an outcast and being a little rougher around the edges play to Ruby’s advantage.

I imagine that as the leader of the Riott Squad, it would be particularly difficult for Ruby to be accepted among the other women in the locker room, because Riott Squad was just that troublesome to everyone around them. Although it doesn’t sound like it at first, that could end up being a great jump-off point for a Riott Face Turn (anyone else thinking this is a cool name for a head kick?).

Riott could shine in feuds with some of WWE’s top female heels. Alexa Bliss sticks out the most; Alexa’s high-school-bully persona seems taylor-made for Riott to play face to.
