The Lucha Brothers, Pentagon Jr. and Fenix, are here to take on The Cult of Lee. The Cult of Lee, I’d like to add, are the most underrated members of the Impact roster.

Pentagon immediately takes control, and Fenix nails a double drop kick, but not much later Lee and Konley flee the ring.

Rey Fenix has been having the year of his life. He is truly the star of this program nine episodes out of ten. His agility is inhuman.

Pentagon offers a few strong smacks to Lee and Konley, and Konley lands a strong left hook to the head of Fenix, make that two.

Konley takes an advantage of a distracted referee and continues in on Fenix illegally. It seems to be working for them however, at least for the moment, until Fenix double-cuts. Pentagon in so impassioned that he gets himself censored as we has Konley on the ropes.

This match is exceptionally strike heavy, which you’d have to assume was going to be the key for Lee and Konley during. Pentagon and Fenix can fly, and the Cult would have to do anything they can to keep them on the ground.

Pentagon gets the pin on Lee after a Fear Factor, and the Luchas win.

During the celebrations, Sami Callahan and OVE interrupt on video. Jake Crist is mimicking everything Sami is doing. Sami challenges Pentagon, Fenix, and Brian Cage to a tag match with OVE during the Impact tapings in Mexico.

Grade: B

In a match most would write off as a squash, Lee and Konley certainly held their own.
