Impact Wrestling: Results, Analysis, and Grades for September 13th, 2018
Meanwhile, Fallah Bah assumingly tries to tell KM something is up with his championship opportunity, but Kevin won’t listen. KM advises they need some inspiration from… Eli Drake? Sure! KM asks Eli to make Fallah the face of Impact Wrestling, change his look around. There are diaper jokes, and more fat jokes. It’s not Fallah’s night, is it?
Allie and Kiera Hogan are interviewed, and Allie insists there was no hidden agenda in saving Tessa Blanchard last week; she made a promise to protect the roster from Su Yung, and that’s what she intends to do, no matter how much the person going into the coffin hates her.
Tessa argues she never needed Allie’s help. Don’t forget, she’s the one with the Knockouts Championship around her waist, not Allie, and not Su.
Alisha Edwards vs. Katarina
Alisha Edwards arrives for her match with Katarina. I simply cannot wait for Grado and Hendry to come out and interrupt this match (is this sarcasm? Who knows?) It happened right away.
Joe came prepared with another song, this one called “Access Denied.” It’s catchy, but doesn’t take away from the fact that if there was supposed to be a match, I would have liked to see a match.
Alisha rolls Katarina up quick for a win.
Grade: D
This storyline had potential be immersive if it had unfolded properly, but it was entirely too hasty.
