1. The Addition Of Mick Foley As Special Guest Referee In Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman

It took much longer than it should have taken, but Roman Reigns finally captured the Universal Championship at SummerSlam by defeating Brock Lesnar.  The Big Dog has no time to celebrate, however, with a huge championship match looming this Sunday against The Monster Among Men.

Braun Strowman nearly cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase a couple different occasions, but thanks to The Shield’s involvement on the Raw following SummerSlam, Strowman did not get that chance.  This has changed Strowman’s mindset heading into Hell In A Cell where he is cashing in his guaranteed Universal Championship opportunity to battle Reigns inside Hell in a Cell.

More from WWE

Strowman has turned heel and aligned himself with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre in recent weeks to offset The Shield’s numbers advantage, but the bigger picture involving Strowman vs. Reigns at Hell In A Cell might have come courtesy of a former Raw GM.  On the most recent edition of Raw, Mick Foley came out to talk about the 20th anniversary of his legendary Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker just days before the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view.

This would take an interesting turn with Foley announcing he would be the special guest referee in the Reigns vs. Strowman Hell in a Cell match on Sunday.  Could this set up the potential of Foley costing The Big Dog the Universal Championship?  Whether it’s accidental or deliberate, Foley being added to the match could spell doom for Reigns.  There could be no involvement whatsoever, but it seems like the WWE added Foley to this match for a reason.
