King is out for a singles match, but with some interference by Homicide and Hernandez, this is a quick bout. I mean, a minute or so long. All King seems to want to go is drag LAX out of hiding, anything it takes for LAX to break the cease-fire first.
This has been the most interesting feud Impact has come up with in recent years. There is so much tension, so much animosity that you feel like even if the OGz and LAX are on the screen for this short amount of time, something is going down.
I will not be qualifying this as a match, and we’ll move on.

Meanwhile, Ortiz and Santana are begging Konnan to do something, because the more King and the OGz run their mouths, the dumber LAX looks for not retaliating. Konnan insists, literally, that if they break the cease-fire, they will be put into a vat of acid. King and the OGz aren’t worth the trouble, but they’ll be worth the wait until Bound for Glory.
Alisha vs. Faby Apache
Alisha is announced as only Alisha, no Edwards. I’m sure Eddie will eventually have something to say about this, but what hasn’t Eddie had something to say about lately? Faby gets the upper-hand quickly, dragging Alisha all over the ring. There’s a kick exchange in the middle of the ring.
Oh, Don Callis says Eddie is Alisha’s EX. Hmm. Story-line brewing…?
Faby is dominating this match, and she’s making Alisha look a little slow. Faby gets Alisha in an impressive surfboard, and Faby is getting much of the crowd’s support. Alisha manages to shift momentum and gets some solid punches in. Alisha gets a near fall, but then Faby nails a massive superkick in the corner.

Alisha lands a clothesline before hitting a flatliner, almost for the pin. Alisha is definitely getting more energy, and she dives to hit a crossbody on Faby. Faby counters, hitting a big powerbomb on Alisha for the win. Faby challenges Tessa Blanchard for next week to teach the “new girl” a lesson.
Grade: B-
Faby dominated this match. She was dominant, strong, quick, powerful, just a star. She would be a great contender for a hypothetical Mae Young Classic 3.
